However it is worth mentioning that if you are interested in taking both exams you would not be alone; many students are increasingly taking both the SAT and ACT . Recent changes made to the SAT in 2016 have made it easier than ever to prep for both tests at the same time  and get competitive scores on both exams! The content knowledge required for both exams is pretty much the same, so time spent studying on one exam would help you succeed on the other.
